Open Question

Metoclopramide & Domperidone

We discussed earlier the action of metoclopramide as a dopamine receptor antagonist. As the drug readily penetrates the blood-brain barrier, it can also act on dopamine receptors in other parts of the brain. What would you be concerned about in this situation? Would we have the same concern with domperidone?
